Kath Edmonds
Kath Edmonds 25, is an exciting singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Leeds . All tracks and parts are written and recorded by Kath who performs as a solo artist whilst maintaining a clear vision and drive for the potential of her music solo or in a band format. Kath’s music is hard to box; acoustic rock pop, hook driven ballads, attacking grunge hits, melancholic sweetness, percussive attention to detail…it goes on. Graduating from Salford University with a 1st in “Popular Music and Recording” Kath has been involved in music since the age of 6 when she started learning the piano, progressing to drums at 11, guitar and bass at 17 whilst singing and composing all the way along. During her teens Kath was known and well respected as a drummer, mostly in Manchester . Moving back to Leeds in 2007 she began her solo career and is creeping through on the Leeds Music Scene; a unique act with honest delivery, energetic and passionate. Kath has the talent and the drive for big things with a bank of hits right behind her. It’s something new, an affinity with guitar and voice working as one, she’ll make you stop and listen.
