How do I download songs? Just log into your account. Then choose the song you like and confirm the purchase. Download the song via your surfer account control panel: Click 'downloaded tracks' or 'downloaded albums'. Here you can download the song, listen to it etc.

How do I rate songs/artists? You can only rate songs which you have downloaded. Go to your Surfer Account control panel. Click on 'downloaded tracks'. Here you can review songs and artists.

Can I upload cover versions of known songs? Yes! Soundsurf are purchasing the license from PRS Alliance for cover versions. Please help us counting the songs/streams by ticking `cover versions' during uploading.
We are absorbing the license fee into our 20% so that nothing would change for you!.

When will I receive my share of the download revenue as an artist and is there a minimum limit for payouts?
We are processing the payments once a month and the minimum payout is £1.

I am an artist from outside the UK. How can I receive payment if someone downloads my songs? If you are from outside the UK, we can only make payments to you using PayPal. If you don't already have a PayPal account, just sign up for one at www.paypal.com. It's free and easy to use.

I am from outside the UK and would like to download songs. I noticed that they are in British Pounds (GBP). Can I pay in US Dollars? Your credit card provider will process the payment in pounds and automatically convert it to your home currency (i.e. Dollars or Euros etc). If you want a rough idea what the GBP amount is in your currency, just visit www.xe.com .

If I want to become a surfer member so that I can download songs, will I have to pay a monthly or regular subscription fee or is there a minimum download requirement? No. You don't have to pay any subscription fees and you only pay for the songs you download. No minimum download requirement applies. It's all up to you and you are in control.

Radio: How come my Radio-player (realplayer) shows the wrong song info (artist name etc)? The artist and song details are actually save with the song (in something called ID3 tag). So if you are the artist and would like to change that you would have to change the ID3 tag and then upload the song again. Any problems just get in touch with us.
